RULES

Flint-Silver, Flint-Thomas, and Flint-Silver-Thomas are NOT allowed in any form. Silver/Thomas can be allowed as long as it does NOT include any of the above. Polyships including the first two will be allowed, as long as they’re genuinely about the poly relationship and all its members (i.e. Silverflintmadi, silverflintbones, flinthamiltons, etc. etc.).

Any other ship is game, canon or not, romantic or platonic pairs, etc.

Fills other than fanfic are welcome (fanart, manips, fanmixes, etc.).

NO crossover ships. This is supposed to be about the characters from the show and their dynamics.

For that same reason, after thinking it over, NO RPF either.

Any length, genre, rating etc. is allowed. There are no restrictions to content other than those already stated, but warnings must be added as needed (follow the ao3 archive warnings criteria and warn for anything potentially triggering, basically).

No attacks or slander against any of the participants will be tolerated. I can’t do anything for stories already posted before something like that happens, but that person will be banned from any future rounds or other events I might run, and they won’t be allowed to continue on this one.

There will be a thread for voicing doubts or clarifications as needed.

HOW TO PROMPT

Post as many prompts as you want, ONE PER REPLY ONLY. Preferably, post the prompt as the tittle of the reply, for easier visibility, and any suggestions or do-not-wants in the body. (/) for romantic or sexual relationships, (&) for platonic, (&/) for if you'd like either. The format to follow (you will see examples as I’ll post a few prompts of my own now), for ease, will be:

I’ve created an ao3 collection for anyone who wants to use it. If you don’t have an ao3 account, I have a few invitations available, and I’d welcome anyone who’d offer to hand one if needed.

I’ll make a thread to link to the filled prompts. DO NOT REPLY TO IT, I’ll update it myself. There’s no end date, but after there’s enough fills, I’ll link to a new post with a more comprehensive masterlist.

Feel free to post fills even if they’re not the first response to a prompt. The more rarepair content, the better.

I’ve often wanted a section in prompt memes like this for those who’d been inspired by a prompt, but what they want to write isn’t what the prompter asked for exactly or contradicts it (i.e. a higher rating, in an AU setting when they asked for canonverse, they only want to write it themselves, etc.). Gift exchanges are supposed to be more tailored for the recipient, they “own” the prompt so to speak, but comment ficathons feel more “for everybody”. There’ll be a section like that, and I’ve decided to call it “the undesirables” because I live for drama.

RUSSIAN DOLL SILVER AND MAX AU!!!!!!!!! Did I know about this? I'm not sure, but honestly, it already sounds a thousand times better than the actual Russian Doll show and I need it. Whatever I have to do to make you write, as many gifsets as you want, I will. But no pressure, lmao. Also, the Silver vampire au we talked about, yes!! <33

Maybe? I know I talked about it with a few people but it was a long time ago lmao.

The idea started reading this post that discussed an Actual AU (modern setting, dynamics to fit the show, etc.). But I’m generally not an AU person, and I’m so even less when it comes to Black Sails lol. It’s canon setting for me or nothing.

So my head ran in that direction, implementing that concept (two people dying and returning from the death together) into the show. Specifically circa episode II: with Silver’s first death being while he’s running from Flint and Vane in the Wrecks and Max’s at the hands of Vane’s crew, with them returning to the moment they were alone in the brothel.

After that, I loosely follow some of the threads of RD’s show, with them finding out the other is trapped in a loop, bonding, etc., as well as each trying to solve each of their situations in various ways (which for example gives me the excuse to actually do a brief “what if Silver and Max actually escaped to Port Royal” interlude lmao). The focus will be on each character and their dynamic, while outside of that there’ll be some attention dedicated to Maxanor and Silverflint.

I’m going to take that offer of gifsets seriously lmfao. I’ll thinking of some and get back to you :P (but yeah, it will take a while. I wanted to write it for the Rarepair Ficathon but that sort of... drifted away and now I won’t have enough free time to work in longer, more involved stories until the end of the summer or later :/).

The vampire!Silver AU lives in my head rent-free since we discussed it. I’m absolutely in love with the concept and how it would fit with the show (since we’re already discussing Silvermax, I imagine Max already knowing before Silver reveals himself to the crew, actually xDD).

Do you ever put any of your own traits or personality into any of your characters? Which? 

It happens more in my original stories; I’d say every character there borrows at least a little bit of myself xD

But it definitely happens in fic too; if I already relate or project my own issues into a character, sometimes I shape them with my personal experiences. The examples I’m thinking of are still in WIP mode, so sorry if this is vague lol.

On a lighter note: if I’m writing a The 100 fic, no matter the POV, someone is going to think about how pretty Emori is. It is a given, sns xDD

If you could base one of your fics in a different location than where it is currently, where would you like it to be? 

Not really. I pick settings (usually canonverse, or sometimes a twisted version/fusion of it) for a reason: I want the story to be there.
